Gothenburg Film Studios organized the family festival of Hisingen for the first time in August 2017. The festival showcases young creativity (e.g. music, art and food) as a way to celebrate the cultural diversity of Hisingen. Nearly 2000 people enjoyed performances at the three indoor and outdoor stages, the market place and the food stands.
