Established by filmmakers in 2009, Gothenburg Film Studios has evolved into the epicenter of cinematic creativity and event culture in Gothenburg. Encompassing some 30,000 square meters, our Studios and business divisions are located in the dynamic harbor area of Lindholmen, a thriving hub of development and innovation in the West Sweden region.
Over the years, our facilities have been the birthplace of over 100 feature films and TV series, alongside commercials and documentary films. Our dedication to nurturing a wide array of creative initiatives is manifest in the great range of productions that have been hosted within our premises.
Within our event arena, we've hosted a multitude of thrilling events and music concerts, drawing crowds of up to 2,000 people. The studio has evolved into a versatile space accommodating a spectrum of activities – from film productions and theatrical and dance performances to art exhibitions. The stage has seen the mesmerizing performances of acclaimed artists such as Fever Ray, Kite, Nils Frahm, Robyn, Thåström among many others, solidifying our space as a dynamic cultural hub.
With roots deeply embedded in the world of filmmaking, we've grown into a versatile multi-faceted production company, a production service provider, a creative hub functioning as a nexus for film, events, music, and game development.
